Biography drs. Yvonne Escalona
drs. Yvonne H.M. Escalona RA joined the Visser group as CFO in July 2004. After graduating in business economics at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands, she began her career in 1993 at Ernst & Young accountants in Eindhoven. In 1996 she obtained her register accountant title and became a member of the Royal Nivra. Mrs. Escalona has worked for Ernst & Young for eleven years, of which the last six of those years she was in charge of the Aruba office.
Mrs. Escalona has also been a part-time lecturer at the University of Tilburg and the University of the Netherlands Antilles, teaching a course in International Financial Reporting. Furthermore she has given several lectures, amongst others at the Vera Conferences in Aruba and Curacao.
At the Visser Group her responsibilities include financial reporting, internal control, treasury and tax.
